Mission
We are a mission driven company
Status recognized by French law (Pact, 2019)
At Climate Leaders Fast Track, our mission has been embedded in our statutes from the very start.
Accelerate the climate transition by supporting those who make it possible.
It is not a simple status, it is a commitment:
Investing in high-impact projects
Getting involved alongside the founders
Measuring what really matters
Our purpose:
Actively contribute to decarbonizing the economy
Performance and impact are not opposed. They move forward together and we see it every day.
Investment thesis
Our approach
We support the scaling of the most relevant climate solutions — with capital, time, and strategic relationships
Financing the climate transition
Each supported project must demonstrate a clear potential for reducing emissions on a large scale. The objective: to concentrate capital where it can have a real and verifiable impact on the transition. No fuzzy bets, no technologies without proof of impact.
Be an active partner
Investing does not end with raising funds. We are involved in key moments: structuring, business model, recruitment, industrialization. The important thing is to help teams stay on track in a complex environment.
Mobilizing our network
Climate progress does not happen in a silo. Thanks to an active network of experts, investors, and managers of large groups, we connect projects to strategic resources. It's not a network to shine — it's a network to act.
Selection
Selection criteria
We select projects led by teams aligned with our approach, capable of generating a real climate impact and of scale.
The contribution to reducing emissions must be measurable, documented and consistent with the main climate goals. It is an entry criterion, not a check box.
We support teams capable of delivering quickly, open to support and clear-eyed about future challenges. Human alignment is as important as operational solidity.
The project must be able to be extended to a significant market or use, with a model designed to grow without losing impact. We are looking for solutions that can truly make a difference in the transition.
We are looking for teams with a structured vision of the problem they are addressing, and an approach compatible with ours: direct, committed, execution oriented.
We are looking for teams that can turn their vision into tangible results, with a deep understanding of the market, a clear go-to-market strategy, and the ability to generate sustainable growth in service of their impact.
About
Our roots

Pierre-Etienne Lorenceau & Gerald Maradan
CLFT was born from a shared desire: to mobilize entrepreneurship and private capital in the service of climate transition.
On one hand, Pierre-Étienne Lorenceau, founder of Leaders League, which he expanded to 49 countries before passing it on, then invested in climate startups through his holding Leadership Growth Holding. He discovered a rich but fragile ecosystem, where founders often lack support to scale up.
On the other hand, Gérald Maradan, co-founder of EcoAct in 2005, who became a global reference in carbon consulting. For more than fifteen years, he has been helping large groups define and implement their decarbonization trajectories, with one conviction: the transition will not come from speeches, but from concrete actions carried out by entrepreneurs capable of transforming value chains.
Together, they created CLFT: a hybrid structure, between investment fund and accelerator, designed to support climate entrepreneurs at key moments. Not only through funding, but by getting involved alongside them, on the ground.
CLFT is now based on an active community of investors and partners, with a clear vocation: to bring out a new generation of leaders combining business ambition and environmental transformation, and to help them scale up, faster, further, with impact.
